Q: I haven't done a photo shoot before. How do I go about the entire process?

A: You can start by emailing fen if you have any enquiries and she'll schedule a consultation prior to the photoshoot. During the consultation, your needs and requirements for the shoot are discussed, as well as brainstorming of ideas and discussion of props for your shoot. A date for the shoot is scheduled and SGD 200 non-refundable deposit is required at the end of the consultation and you'll be issued a receipt as acknowledgement of your deposit.

On the day of the shoot, 100 or 200 photos will be shot during your 1 or 2 hour photo session. The best shots are placed on contact sheets and they will be emailed to you within 3 days of your photo shoot. After receiving your selections, it'll take 7 working days to process, edit and enhance your photos. Your selections will be burnt onto a CD and Fen will contact you directly for the collection of your CD. The remaining payment shall be paid upon delivery of the CD and you'll be issued a receipt.

Q: How is FenFotography different from the other studios?

A: Fen takes the time to understand your individual needs and requirements for photo shoots. Specializing in artistic nudes and portraits, each shoot is tailored to suit your personality and individual desire. And consultations are a tremendous help to understand your needs better.

Photos you receive are full sized soft copies, you can bring your CD to the print shop and print 10,000 photos of any size for your friends and families, whereas other studios give you a small number of prints and if you wish to enlarge or purchase the soft copies, you'll have to pay an exorbitant amount for them.

Q: How long does the consultation last and where is is conducted?

A: Consultations last about 30 minutes and are conducted at FenFotography's studio at 81 Sembawang Hills Drive (off Ang Mo Kio Ave 2 and Upper Thomson Road). Click here to view map

Q: I'm looking for a gift for my significant other, what options do I have?

A: Photobooks, canvas prints, calendars and endless possiblities, please enquire with Fen.

Q: I would like to do an artistic nude photo session as I've been wanting to do it the longest time. But I'm kind of shy to take my clothes just like that. What can I do?

A: Your consultation with Fen prior to your photo shoot would help you feel more comfortable with Fen. She understands that you need time to warm up to her and the environment. If you're really shy, you can start fully clothed and remove items of clothing progressively. You can pose with towels or scarfs till you're comfortable to be fully nude.

Q: Is there anything i need to do prior to my nude shoot?

A: Ladies, please try to wear loose clothing and if possible, not wear tight brassieres and underwear as they leave tell-tale marks on your skin. And gentlemen, please remove visible hairs from chest , stomach and back if they are camoflaging or concealing your muscle tone. The loose clothing requirement also applies to gentlemen too.

Q: I've got scars on my face, a mole and stretchmarks on my body, and i absolutely hate them! Is there anything that can be done to make me beautiful?

A: Photo editing is part of your photo package, scars, moles, stretchmarks can be removed. A bit of nip tuck can be performed for love handles, eyebags and muffin tops, saving you from crazy dieting prior to your photo shoot.

Q: I'm concerned about having my photos displayed online. Do I have a choice in such matters?

A: Yes, as we respect your privacy and confidentiality, photos will only be featured on this website with your written consent.
